The state-level Golden Competitions 2026, featuring Golden Feet of Sikkim, Golden Beat of Sikkim, and Golden Voice of Sikkim, concluded successfully with a grand finale at Jorethang Playground. The event formed a key attraction of the 71st Maghey Sankranti Mela and drew large crowds from across the state.

Chief Minister Attends as Chief Guest
Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang attended the grand finale as the Chief Guest. He was joined by Cabinet Ministers, Members of the Legislative Assembly, Advisors, Chairpersons, Heads of Departments, and other senior officials.
The presence of top government leaders added significance to the event and encouraged young artists participating in the competitions.

Winners of Golden Feet of Sikkim
In the Golden Feet of Sikkim dance competition, Dynamic Flickers Dance Academy secured the first position with an energetic and well-coordinated performance.
Meanwhile, Tapashree Gagan Dance Academy claimed the second position, while Demazong Tribe Dance Academy finished in third place. The judges praised all teams for their discipline, creativity, and stage presence.
Results of Golden Beat of Sikkim
The Golden Beat of Sikkim band competition showcased musical talent from across the state. The band Mana emerged as the winner, impressing the audience with their original sound and confident performance.
At the same time, Roll Heads secured the second position, and Akhanda claimed the third spot. Each band received appreciation for musical skill and coordination.
Golden Voice of Sikkim Winners
In the Golden Voice of Sikkim singing competition, Subash Darjee won first place after delivering a powerful and emotive performance.
Furthermore, Sumi Hangma Subba secured the second position, while Sushila Bala Rai finished third. Judges highlighted vocal control and expression as key strengths of the finalists.
Prize Distribution Marks Grand Finale
The programme concluded with Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang distributing prizes and certificates to the winners. He congratulated all participants and encouraged them to continue pursuing excellence in the arts.
