During the operation, officers recovered a 9 mm pistol, a magazine, 97 live rounds of ammunition, and a Toyota Fortuner without a registration number. Furthermore, police are examining the seized items as part of the investigation.
Two More Alleged Cadres Held
In another operation, security personnel arrested two alleged active cadres of the KCP (PSC) during a crackdown on suspected extortion activities.
Police identified them as Koijam Lamyanba Meitei alias Punshiba alias Ningol (23) and Lourembam Rojit alias Lamnganba alias Pukhri (19). Additionally, officers arrested them from separate locations in Imphal West and Thoubal districts.
According to investigators, both individuals allegedly took part in extortion-related activities.
