IRB Infrastructure Developers announced on Friday that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Samakhiyali Tollway Private Ltd, has executed a concession agreement with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for the Samakhiyali Santalpur Build, operate, transfer (BOT) project in Gujarat. The project is a 6-lane, 90.90 km stretch on NH27 and has a project cost outlay of INR 2,132 crore. The concession period for the project is 20 years from the appointed date, which includes a two-year construction period.

This project is part of the government’s efforts to improve the country’s road infrastructure and provide better connectivity. The NHAI has been actively awarding BOT projects to private players under the hybrid annuity model, which has proven to be an effective way to bring private investment into the sector.

IRB Infrastructure Developers is one of the leading infrastructure companies in India and has been involved in the development of various road projects in the country. The company has a strong track record of delivering projects on time and has a diversified portfolio of BOT, HAM, and toll-operate-transfer (TOT) projects.

The Samakhiyali Santalpur BOT project is expected to create employment opportunities in the region and provide better connectivity to nearby towns and cities. The project is also expected to boost economic activity in the region by facilitating the movement of goods and people.

With the execution of the concession agreement, IRB Infrastructure Developers can now begin work on the project. The company has a team of experienced professionals who will be responsible for the construction and maintenance of the project. The company will also be responsible for the toll collection on the road during the concession period.

The company has stated that it is committed to delivering the project on time and within budget. The company has a strong focus on quality and safety and has implemented various measures to ensure that the project is executed without any incidents.

The Samakhiyali Santalpur BOT project is a significant development in the road infrastructure sector in India. The project is expected to provide better connectivity to the region and boost economic activity. IRB Infrastructure Developers is well positioned to execute the project and deliver it on time and within budget.
