Kashmir’s First Bollywood Movie Trailer Released, Highlights Social Issues

Kashmir’s first Bollywood movie, “Welcome to Kashmir,” recently released its trailer, aiming to showcase the valley and its people in a positive light. The film is directed by Tariq Bhat and focuses on women’s empowerment and the fight against drug abuse.

The trailer was unveiled on Saturday by Tourism Secretary Syed Abid Rasheed Shah, who praised the film for highlighting pivotal social issues. According to Shah, the movie’s positive portrayal of the Valley and its people could help boost tourism in the region.

“Welcome to Kashmir” is a significant step towards showcasing the valley’s beauty and culture to the rest of the country. The film highlights the stunning landscapes of Kashmir and focuses on the region’s rich heritage and traditions.

Moreover, the movie’s emphasis on social issues such as women’s empowerment and drug abuse is expected to create awareness among viewers. The film’s message aligns with the government’s efforts to tackle these problems and promote a better future for the people of Kashmir.

Director Tariq Bhat’s vision for the movie was to tell a story that resonated with the people of Kashmir while also inspiring the rest of the country. He aimed to showcase the region’s beauty and potential, while also highlighting its struggles and triumphs.
