Prime Video’s First Hindi Horror Series “Adhura” Set to Haunt Audiences on July 7

In an exciting announcement on Tuesday, Prime Video revealed that it would be releasing its first-ever Hindi horror series, titled “Adhura,” on July 7. The upcoming show promises to take viewers on a gripping and suspenseful journey into the supernatural realm. Starring talented actors Rasika Dugal, Ishwak Singh, Shrenik Arora, and Poojan Chhabra, the seven-episode series is written and co-directed by Ananya Banerjee, alongside Gauravv K Chawla.

“Adhura” marks a significant milestone for Prime Video as it ventures into the horror genre in the Hindi language. With an ensemble cast that includes some of the industry’s finest performers, the series aims to captivate audiences with its eerie storyline and spine-chilling narrative.

The plot of “Adhura” remains shrouded in mystery, heightening anticipation among horror enthusiasts. Prime Video’s press release emphasized that the show’s narrative will delve into the supernatural realm, suggesting a thrilling exploration of otherworldly elements. As the title suggests, “Adhura” may present a tale of unresolved mysteries and unsettling encounters that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats throughout its seven episodes.

Leading the series is the talented actress Rasika Dugal, known for her impressive performances in acclaimed projects such as “Mirzapur” and “Delhi Crime.” With her exceptional acting skills and ability to portray complex characters, Dugal is expected to deliver a memorable performance in “Adhura,” adding depth and authenticity to the show’s atmosphere of terror.

Ishwak Singh, another accomplished actor, joins the cast of “Adhura” to further enhance its ensemble. Singh has garnered recognition for his roles in notable films like “Raanjhaana” and the web series “Paatal Lok.”
