Heavy rainfall is expected to occur at isolated places in Kerala and Coastal Karnataka over the next three days, with Lakshadweep experiencing heavy rainfall over the next two days.
Moving to the northeastern region of India, light to moderate scattered rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning is likely over North East India in the next five days. On June 9, very heavy rainfall is expected at isolated places in Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura. Additionally, Assam and Meghalaya are likely to experience very heavy rainfall on June 12 and 13, with isolated heavy rainfall occurring in Arunachal Pradesh and Assam & Meghalaya over the next five days. Manipur and Mizoram can expect isolated heavy rainfall on June 10 and 12.
Furthermore, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim are expected to witness very heavy rainfall at isolated places from June 11 to 13. Andaman & Nicobar Islands will experience isolated heavy rainfall from June 9 to 11, while Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim may experience the same on June 9 and 10.
