Tripura eSports Championship Season 1 Wraps Up with Impressive Turnout and Enthusiastic Response

The Tripura eSports Championship Season 1, presented by Infected eSports in association with the Department of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of Tripura, and curated by Agartala Events For You, a venture of TOTELL, concluded today at Nazrul Kalakshetra, Agartala, leaving a powerful mark on the state’s digital sports landscape.

The landmark event was proudly supported by the Tribal Welfare Department, National Health Mission (NHM), and Tripura State AIDS Control Society, highlighting a collaborative effort to promote youth engagement, healthy lifestyle choices, and awareness through digital innovation and responsible gaming.

Throughout the day-long championship, hundreds of gamers and spectators gathered to witness fierce competition, unmatched enthusiasm, and a blend of talent from across the state. Featuring popular eSports titles, the event was a platform for local players to showcase their skills, with thrilling matches that kept the audience captivated throughout. Featured high-stakes competitive gaming, including titles like BGMI, e-Chess, and e-Football, alongside a vibrant lineup of cultural performances, food stalls, and entertainment zones.

“This is just the beginning. We are overwhelmed by the energy and passion of the participants and the overwhelming public response. The success of Season 1 inspires us to work harder toward creating more such platforms for the youth of Tripura. We thank all our supporting departments for believing in this vision,” said Shibam Deb, the event convener on behalf of Infected eSports.

The event ended with a grand ceremony to honour the winners, where they received certificates, cash prizes, and a trophy. 

The highlight of the event was the Grand Finals of BGMI, E-Chess, and E-Soccer, which featured intense competition and led to thrilling victories. 

In BGMI, TEAM ICONIC emerged as the champions, receiving a cash prize of Rs 12,000 along with a trophy. The members of TEAM ICONIC include Sadhan Debbarma, Sujel Debbarma, Sunendra Debbarma, Jovial Debbarma, and Mustav Ahmed. 

TEAM AS KNOWN AS secured second place and won a cash prize of Rs 7,000. The players on this team are Dixshit Debbarma, Kashis Chakma, Samuel Wakplom Kalai, Semion Debbarma, and Aryan Debbarma. 

Finally, TEAM TRANSACTION took third place, earning a cash prize of Rs 5,000. The players of TEAM TRANSACTION are Jackson Debbarma, Dipesh Debbarma, Khorang Tripura, and Zidan Debbarma.

E-Chess: Kwaplaiba Debbarma (Champion), Samuel Debbarma (Runner-up), and Kushan Tripura (Third Place). 

E-Football: Rohan Debbarma (Champion), Ankur Acharya (Runner-up), and Swarna Sankha Acharjee (Third Place).

As Tripura steps forward in embracing the ever-growing world of eSports, this championship marks a historic beginning—one filled with promise, purpose, and the power of community.
