Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) has introduced a new compressed natural gas (CNG) variant of its popular compact SUV, Fronx. The CNG trims, named Sigma and Delta, are priced at Rs 8.41 lakh and Rs 9.27 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. This move by Maruti Suzuki aims to cater to the growing demand for eco-friendly vehicles in the Indian market.

The CNG variants of the Fronx are equipped with a 1.2-liter petrol engine that generates a power output of 77.5PS. Along with its impressive power, the CNG variant boasts an exceptional fuel efficiency of 28.51 km/kg. This makes it an appealing choice for customers seeking a cost-effective and environmentally friendly SUV.

Maruti Suzuki has been a leader in the Indian automotive market, renowned for its wide range of affordable and fuel-efficient vehicles. With the introduction of the CNG variant of Fronx, the company is further expanding its lineup of eco-friendly cars. CNG-powered vehicles have gained popularity in recent years due to their lower emissions and reduced running costs compared to traditional petrol or diesel-powered cars.

The Sigma and Delta trims of the Fronx CNG variant come with several features to enhance comfort and convenience. These include power windows, central locking, manual air conditioning, dual front airbags, and ABS with EBD. The SUV also features a spacious cabin and ample legroom, providing a comfortable driving experience for both the driver and passengers.

In terms of safety, the Fronx CNG variant is equipped with standard safety features such as dual front airbags and ABS with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD). These features ensure that occupants are protected in case of an accident, adding an extra layer of reassurance for customers.

The introduction of the CNG variant is in line with Maruti Suzuki’s commitment to sustainable mobility. The company has been actively promoting the use of alternative fuels and has made significant strides in the development of CNG-powered vehicles. This move aligns with the Indian government’s efforts to reduce the country’s dependence on fossil fuels and curb air pollution.

The pricing of the Fronx CNG variant is competitive, making it an attractive option for customers looking for a cost-effective SUV with low running costs. Additionally, the availability of a CNG variant expands the choices for customers who prioritize fuel efficiency and want to contribute to a cleaner environment.

Maruti Suzuki has a robust sales and service network across the country, ensuring easy accessibility and after-sales support for customers. The company’s extensive service network is a key factor that has contributed to its success and customer satisfaction.

The launch of the CNG variant of the Fronx compact SUV by Maruti Suzuki is a strategic move to capitalize on the growing demand for eco-friendly vehicles in India. With its competitive pricing, fuel efficiency, and range of features, the Fronx CNG variant is expected to attract a significant customer base. As the automotive industry continues to shift towards greener technologies, Maruti Suzuki is well-positioned to lead the way in the Indian market with its diverse range of eco-friendly offerings.
