Empowering Youth as Job Creators

Speaking at the programme, Chief Minister Sarma said the state government aims to transform young people into job creators rather than job seekers. He added that entrepreneurship remains a key pillar of Assam’s economic growth strategy.

Moreover, the Chief Minister encouraged the beneficiaries to use the financial assistance responsibly to expand their businesses. According to him, youth-driven enterprises can significantly boost local employment and strengthen the state’s economy.

Vision to Support 10 Lakh Entrepreneurs

The Chief Minister’s Atmanirbhar Assam Award 2.0 seeks to provide long-term support to aspiring entrepreneurs across Assam. In the coming years, the scheme aims to benefit up to 10 lakh young entrepreneurs.

Furthermore, the programme focuses on nurturing innovation, promoting self-reliance, and building a robust startup ecosystem in the state. The government believes that sustained financial support will help young entrepreneurs scale their ventures and compete in larger markets.

Strong Push for Economic Growth

The Assam government continues to roll out policies that encourage entrepreneurship and self-employment. As a result, initiatives like CMAAA 2.0 play a crucial role in strengthening grassroots businesses.

During the event, officials congratulated the beneficiaries and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting youth-led enterprises. With continued investment and policy support, Assam aims to emerge as a hub for innovation and sustainable economic development.

Overall, the disbursement of the first installment under CMAAA 2.0 marks a significant milestone in Assam’s efforts to empower its youth and accelerate inclusive economic growth.
