Modi Campaigns in Upper Assam Ahead of Assembly Polls

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Dibrugarh on Tuesday night to boost the BJP’s campaign for the upcoming Assembly elections. The state will vote in just seven days, making this visit crucial.

Rallies Planned in Gogamukh and Behali

On Wednesday, Modi will address two public rallies to support party candidates. He will begin his campaign at Gogamukh in Dhemaji district at 11:00 am.

Later, he will travel to Behali for a second rally at 1:00 pm. This event will target voters from Biswanath, Behali, and Gohpur constituencies. These areas remain key battlegrounds in the elections.


Focus on Voter Outreach

The BJP aims to strengthen its base in Upper Assam through these rallies. Party leaders expect Modi’s presence to energize workers and attract undecided voters.

He will highlight development work, governance, and future plans for the state. The campaign now enters its final phase, and leaders are increasing their outreach efforts.


Return to New Delhi

After completing his engagements, Modi will return to New Delhi later in the day. His visit highlights Assam’s importance in the party’s election strategy.

Political activity continues to rise across the state. Leaders from various parties are actively campaigning. Modi’s rallies may influence the final phase of voting in Upper Assam.
