Nitul Das, a renowned martial arts trainer and international medalist, is making waves not only in the world of combat sports but also in the realm of social work. Born on February 2, 1989, Das has dedicated his life to promoting self-defense and empowerment, training over 100,000 students across Delhi NCR through NGOs and government schools.

Das’s martial arts journey is marked by impressive achievements on the international stage. He clinched a Gold Medal at the 4th UAE Open International Taekwondo Championship in 2016 and followed it up with a Silver Medal at the 2nd Bangkok Open Mixed Martial Arts Championship in 2019. These accolades have established him as a formidable force in the martial arts community, showcasing his prowess in both taekwondo and mixed martial arts.

Speaking about his experiences, Das remarked, “Martial arts has taught me discipline, resilience, and a sense of purpose. Competing on international platforms has been a dream come true, but the real reward is seeing my students grow and succeed.”

In 2010, Nitul Das founded Taedas Academy Pvt Ltd, a premier institution committed to delivering high-quality martial arts training. Over the past 14 years, the academy has grown into a leading name in the industry, training more than 100,000 students and offering a range of programs spanning various martial arts disciplines.

Under Das’s guidance, Taedas Academy has gained a reputation for its rigorous and holistic approach to training. The academy emphasizes not just physical strength but also the mental fortitude and discipline required to excel in martial arts. “At Taedas, we focus on creating well-rounded martial artists—individuals who are not only skilled fighters but also confident and disciplined in their everyday lives,” Das explained.

What truly sets Nitul Das apart is his dedication to social work. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Das has used his expertise to make a positive impact on society. Partnering with NGOs and government schools in Delhi NCR, Das has provided self-defense training to over 100,000 students, many of whom come from underprivileged backgrounds.

The goal of these initiatives is to equip young people, particularly girls, with the skills and confidence needed to protect themselves. “Self-defense is not just about physical techniques; it’s about empowering individuals, giving them the courage to stand up for themselves,” Das said. His efforts have been widely appreciated by the community, with students and parents alike lauding his dedication to their safety and well-being.

Nitul Das’s contributions to martial arts and his community outreach efforts have left a lasting impression. His vision of using martial arts as a tool for personal growth and empowerment has inspired many. “Martial arts has the power to transform lives. It builds character, instills discipline, and boosts confidence. I want every student I train to carry these qualities with them throughout their lives,” Das added.

For Das, the journey is far from over. He continues to work tirelessly, both as a competitor and an educator, with a mission to reach even more students and make martial arts accessible to all. His work, both inside and outside the dojo, has established him as not just an accomplished martial artist but also a true community leader.

As a champion, teacher, and social worker, Nitul Das exemplifies what it means to give back to the community. His dedication to helping the youth of Delhi NCR through martial arts is a testament to his belief in the transformative power of his craft. With Taedas Academy and his social outreach programs, Das is shaping the next generation of strong, confident, and empowered individuals.

Nitul Das’s story is one of triumph, passion, and service—a reminder of how one individual’s dedication can create ripples of positive change in countless lives.
