The Holy Scripture Dnyaneshwari, a commentary on the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, that was
composed by Saint Dnyaneshwara at the age of 16, and was translated in Hindi by Shri.
Krishna Ji Ashtekar; This was a remarkable event for the Saint literature.
For this work done by translating the Marathi scripture Dnyaneshwaree in Hindi. Gurukul
Pratishthan, Pune organised a gathering to inaugurate it, and applaud the work by Shri. Krishna
Ashtekar. No matter what faith or community a person may belong to, Gurukul Pratishtan
wanted these Holy writings to be available to everyone who wished to share and learn the
message of Dnyaneshwari.

The inauguration was done by chief guest of event Revered Shriguru Majid Paithankar,
renowned contemporary spiritual master, the founding president of Zariya Organisation,
He was invited to grace the event by the Chief Trustee of Alandi Devasthan- Shri.Yogesh
Desai.
The presence of other dignitaries at the event, such as Dr. Ashok Kamat, President of the
“Gurukul Pratishthan” in Pune, Dr. Milind Pande, Pro-Vice Chancellor of the MIT-World
Peace University, and Shri. Ram Bhau Kajle, a renowned Kirtankar, mesmerised the
audience.
Shriguru Majid complimented Dnyaneshwaree by saying as Geeta is the Milk, milked by
Shri. Krishna from Upanishads in form of cow, then that Geeta in form of milk is turned
into Milk Sweets and that is Dnyaneshwaree.

Shriguru continued, “While I was reading this blessed book on the stage, I noticed that
Dnyaneshwari begins on page one with the words “O the formless God, you are the
starting cause of the creation and your description can be witnessed in ved’s too.” He
then made scriptures on his mission of bringing all religions together by showing how practically
all religious scriptures have the same godly essence and message. As Likewise, “Formless
god (Allah)” appears in the Quran.

Shriguru praised Shri. Krishna Ashtekar for the translation by saying, “Thanks to this easy
translation, that a normal hindi speaker will get to know once he reads that it is the same thing
and even the creator is one and same.” Shriguru urged everyone to see these pristine
volumes, and according to him every young person, regardless of their religion, should
read these lovely scriptures.
In his response to Shriguru Majid’s mesmerising speech, Shri. Krishna Ashtekar vowed to
support Shriguru Majid in his mission to bring religions together. Shri Krishna Ashtekar
praised Shriguru Majid Paithankar, and stated that his name will be written in golden
words in history of mankind. He remarked that everyone who reads the Holy Scriptures
should read and understand them in the manner that Shriguru Majid preaches, alluding
to the lovely message Shriguru displayed in his address.

Dr. Milind Pande, pro-vice chancellor of MIT-World Peace University recalled the incident
when Shriguru Majid was a student at MIT and was pursuing engineering, and how Shriguru
went to him with his friends and informed Dr. Pande that they had recomposed Pasaidaan
music and insisted him to hear it. Dr. Milind Pande said, “I watched in awe as a young man
named Majid spoke on Pasaidan, and somewhere in Majid, I saw the light of Guru Tatva.”
He discussed how Shriguru Majid’s work on yoga in the Zariya Organization at this age
impressed everyone, including Dr. Vishwanath Karad, the founding president of MIT-World
Peace University. All religious scriptures are just the life-bearer scriptures, according to Dr.
Milind Pande, who commended the holy texts by saying “These all contain guidance on how to
live our lives and how to let others live theirs; they are not merely statements of facts.”

Being a native of the town of Famous Saint Gajanan Maharaj, Shegao, Dr. Pande admired
Shriguru Majid’s nature and remarked that this is the kind of nature that all children
possess inherently, just like Gajanan Maharaj did. “I want to honour Majid because his
young minds are inspiring other young minds to follow this route,” he stated.

Shriguru gave a message to how to live life in devotion by praising Krishna Ashtekar’s
efforts and said, “Translation was carried out with God’s assistance. The translator of this book,
Appa Sahib, is an example of how one can live in family, conduct business, and still be devoted
to god and do such beautiful service to god and humanity, he added. “Nowadays doing a ritual,
or being devoted to god, or reading scriptures means you can’t live in family, you have to leave
everything for god and take sanyas (monkhood), but no this is not the truth here as seen.”
At the conclusion of the occasion, Shriguru Majid bestowed blessings and
congratulations upon those present on stage by giving them consecrated Japa Malas
and Kasturi as gifts.
