Uma Thakker, whose inspirational personality from childhood happens to be sir APJ has ignited the flames in the field of education with all her dedication , determination and undoubtedly her hardwork. She believes that knowledge makes you great and sharing that knowledge to nurture young minds makes you a successor. She already has left an imprint in field of education and now there is no looking back as she is on the path of success with well determined goals and passion.

Uma has completed her schooling from thane with first grade and also achieved prizes in interschool drawing as well as elocution competitions. She was active in singing and dancing too. Coming from a well educated background she was never deprived of good education. She then pursued her Bachelor’s, Masters in chemistry as major subject and also B. Ed degree from Mumbai university. She was highly appreciated for conducting a project work on “SOAP MAKING” Under a guide from UDCT. (Matunga).

After B. Ed she acquired Cambridge certification and became a part of Cambridge organization(IGCSE) and started filling youths mind with her knowledge .Her work and efforts were highly appreciated.
Uma then thought of shifting her focus towards ICSE board curriculum as many schools were emerging with ICSE board. She gained knowledge about it, worked as a subject head and also Board paper Moderator.
With her indepth knowledge regarding different boards she passionately continued teaching for almost 8 years.
Uma then happened to join hands with the founder of MATRIX GROUP TUITIONS who was equally passionate and hardworking to leave an imprint in education field.

Same goal, same passion brought them together in the journey of life as partner in crime. Uma started supporting MGT as well as her partner. A small institute with one centre and 150 odd students has now grown exponentially into one big organisation excelling in academic life. MGT focuses on quality & hard work and hence are assured for results.

MGT was established with a vision, belief & trust to navigate students potential into performance with 5P’s which include proper Planning, Preparation, Practice, Punctuality & Patience.

MGT also conducts CAREER GUIDANCE seminars to help kids understand and choose the right career opportunities in India as well as abroad.

So Uma today, fulfils the roles of being a wife, a mother , fitness enthusiast and a entrepreneur who believes
‘ TO SHINE LIKE A SUN YOU HAVE TO BURN LIKE A SUN’.
