Ensuring Student Safety

Education officials emphasised that the decision prioritises the safety of students and school staff. Furthermore, conducting exams in a tense environment could create unnecessary risks for candidates travelling to centres.

In addition, authorities said new examination dates will be announced once the situation improves.

Impact on Students

The MBOSE Class 12 exams postponed announcement has affected many students preparing for their board examinations. Meanwhile, schools and education officials have advised students to remain calm and continue their preparation.

Consequently, the board is expected to release a revised timetable soon.

Looking Ahead

Authorities are closely monitoring the situation in West Garo Hills. Ultimately, once normalcy returns, the Meghalaya Board of School Education will conduct the examinations according to the updated schedule.
