The Short film received more than 31 national and international film festival awards in which Priyanka grab 6 best actress awards & director Sourabh lakshkar received 3 best director awards globally.
An Indian Girl is the film that tells the stories of four different girls and women from various walks of life, all located at different ends of society. The film drives home its message of the full and absolute right of every woman to choose her own path in life, no matter what societal expectations or pressures may try to hold her back.
This film of Sourabh has recorded as the most award winning film in the history of Rajasthan. Sourabh received the best film director award from TCL Chinese Theatre, Los Angeles USA for his short film ‘An Indian Girl’ and was selected as the best director in 2 other different film festivals in the country. The 5th episode of the crime web series directed by him, in which Bollywood’s famous actors worked.
Sourabh has directed several short films, advertisements, music videos and web series. The music video ‘Tere Aane Se Pehle’ directed by him, which was released on Zee Music, was viewed by more than 8 lakh people. Saurabh has also written a novel ’26/11 Ek Love Story’. He is still working on the script of a feature film, which will be ready very soon.
