Pankaj Tripathi starts filming for Atal Bihari Vajpayee biopic “Main Atal Hoon”

Pankaj Tripathi has recently revealed that he has commenced filming for the upcoming movie “Main Atal Hoon”. The film is based on the life of former Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and is being directed by renowned filmmaker Ravi Jadhav. Jadhav, who is known for his National Award-winning movies “Natarang” and “Balgandharva”, has written the script in collaboration with Utkarsh Naithani.

Tripathi, who has gained popularity for his remarkable performances in movies like “Gangs of Wasseypur” and “Bareilly Ki Barfi” as well as the web series “Mirzapur”, shared the news with his followers on Instagram. He did not reveal any further details about his role in the film.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee was one of India’s most beloved politicians and served as the Prime Minister of India three times. He was a skilled orator and poet, and his leadership and vision continue to inspire people even after his demise in 2018. Vajpayee was also a recipient of the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian honor, for his contributions to public service.

The biopic “Main Atal Hoon” aims to capture the essence of Vajpayee’s life and achievements and pay homage to his legacy. The film is one of several biopics that have been made in recent years, as the genre has gained popularity in India.

Pankaj Tripathi is known for his versatility as an actor and has garnered critical acclaim for his performances in both mainstream and indie movies. He has also made a mark in the digital space with his impressive work in web series such as “Mirzapur” and “Sacred Games”. Tripathi has a significant fan following and is regarded as one of the finest actors in the country today.

With Tripathi’s involvement, “Main Atal Hoon” is sure to pique the interest of his fans and admirers of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The film is currently in production, and further details about the release date and other cast members are yet to be announced.
