Viacom18 Studios and Tipping Point have unveiled their upcoming film slate, which includes a range of exciting projects from India’s top filmmakers and actors. Among the films announced are “Fighter”, which is being billed as India’s first aerial action film, and “Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani”, the latest film from director Karan Johar.
Other films on the slate include “OMG – Oh My God! 2”, a sequel to the hit 2012 film; “Dhak Dhak”, a coming of age story about four unlikely women bikers; “Shastry Vs Shastry”, a courtroom family drama starring Paresh Rawal; and “Single Salma”, a film featuring Huma Qureshi.
One of the most anticipated films on the slate is “Fighter”, which is being directed by Siddharth Anand and stars Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone in lead roles. The film is said to be a high-octane action movie that will feature some of the most exciting aerial stunts ever seen in an Indian film.
Meanwhile, “Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani” is being directed by Karan Johar and features an ensemble cast that includes Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, and Jaya Bachchan. The film is said to be a romantic comedy that will explore the complexities of modern relationships.
Other films on the slate are equally exciting, with “Dhak Dhak” featuring an impressive cast that includes Fatima Shaikh, Ratna Pathak Shah, Dia Mirza, and Sanjana Sanghi. The film is being directed by debutant director Vivek Soni and is said to be a heartwarming tale about four women who set out on a journey of self-discovery.
“Shastry Vs Shastry” is a family drama that will feature Paresh Rawal in a lead role, while “Single Salma” is a comedy-drama that will feature Huma Qureshi in the lead. Finally, “Suspect” is an intriguing thriller that will star Nana Patekar and Meezan Jaffery in lead roles.
