Amit Shah, The Union Home Minister Stated that he was never worried about the border issues of India – China. Not to miss, The ITBP are shielding the borders due to which he firmly asserted that “because of this, no one can occupy even an inch of India’s land.”

As Amit Shah had visited Devanahalli, Karnataka, to lay the foundation stones for a Central Detective Training Institute (CDTI) of the Bureau of the police research and development, he was also speaking and this was when the minister stated about the Indo-China Borders.

While his address was going on, he plauded the snow soldiers of ITBP mentioning their unparalleled dedicated service for the nation and updated that government of India is taking up all the possible ways to in order for the betterment of the soldiers.

He narrated how ITBP Jawans serve in difficult conditions and the entire country Knows them as ‘Himveers’.

Furthermore, “The ITBP has been doing yeomen service to the nation by keeping the toughest borders on the the Himalayas safe in inhospitable conditions.”

He added along with which he told that ITBP Jawans are bestowed by the nation as Himveer, that is even bigger than Padmashree or Padma Vibhushan.

Statements

Though his remarks were late on the border issue (Dec 9), the clashes across the LAC (Line of actual control) between the forces of India and China at the sector of Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh was addressed ultimately.

In the occasion, Union Minister of parliamentary affairs, coal and mines, Prahlad Joshi, DG ITBP Anish Dayal Singh, DG BPR&D, Balaji Srivastava, Chief Minister of Karnataka, Basavaraj Bommai, Health and family welfare and medical Education Minister, K sudhakar, Home Minister of Karnataka, Araga Jnanendra and other dignitaries had shared the stage.

Indian Army had already given a statement as, “On December 9th, PLA troops contacted the line of actual control in Tawang sector which was contested by Indian troops in a form and resolute manner. This face-off lead to minor injuries to few personnel from both sides.

Both sides immediately disengaged from the area. As a follow up of the incident, Indian commander in the area held a flag meeting with his counterpart to discuss the issue in accordance with the structure mechanisms to restore peace and tranquillity.”

Rajnath Singh, Union defence Minister, stated in parliament that PLA (People’s Liberation Army) troops made an effort to go beyond the limits of the LAC in the Yangtse area of Arunachal Pradesh’s Tawang sector. However, they backed off because of the intervention of the Commandors of our (Indian) military.

The Union Minister concluded with the solid assurance to the upper house saying that our forces are not anything but strongly committed to the protection of our territorial integrity and no matter what, they will continue to break any opposite attempt to this.
