The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, recently emphasized the importance of addressing public grievances in a timely manner. During an interaction with the public through the online platform LG’s Mulaqaat, Sinha discussed the need for coordination and monitoring of government schemes at the district level to meet the expectations of all members of society.

Sinha reiterated that the timely resolution of complaints filed by citizens is the government’s top priority. He emphasized that LG’s Mulaqaat is an effective medium to achieve this goal. The platform, which was launched by the J&K administration, enables citizens to interact directly with the Lt Governor and share their concerns.

Sinha also highlighted the importance of effective communication and collaboration between different levels of government to ensure the success of various development initiatives. He noted that the government is committed to implementing policies and programs that benefit all members of society, particularly those who are most vulnerable.

The Lt Governor’s remarks come at a time when the J&K administration is working to strengthen its efforts to address public grievances. Recently, the government launched a new portal called “Awaaz-e-Awaam” to streamline the process of filing and tracking complaints from citizens. The portal enables citizens to submit their grievances online and track the status of their complaints in real-time.

In addition to these initiatives, the J&K administration has also taken steps to improve governance and promote transparency. The Lt Governor has directed officials to conduct regular inspections and assessments of government departments to ensure that they are functioning efficiently and effectively. The government has also implemented various measures to reduce corruption and increase accountability in the administration.

Sinha’s emphasis on the timely resolution of public complaints reflects the government’s commitment to providing responsive and accountable governance in Jammu and Kashmir. By leveraging technology and promoting transparency, the government is working to build trust and confidence among citizens and improve the overall quality of life in the region.
