Rajya Sabha MP Kapil Sibal responded to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s remarks at the inauguration of the new Parliament building, taking a subtle jab at him by emphasizing that the true essence of a “new India” lies in the freedom of thought and the aspirations of its citizens, rather than in physical infrastructure.

During the inauguration ceremony, Prime Minister Modi hailed the event as an “immortalized” moment in India’s development journey. He expressed his belief that the new Parliament building symbolizes the emergence of a self-reliant and developed India, which would serve as an inspiration for progress in other nations as well.
