Ashok Gehlot celebrates 72nd Birthday, Leaders and Supporters Pour in Wishes

Ashok Gehlot, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan and a senior leader of the Indian National Congress, celebrated his 72nd birthday on Wednesday, May 3. On this occasion, wishes poured in from various political leaders and supporters across the state and the country.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Rajasthan Assembly Speaker C P Joshi, state Congress chief Govind Singh Dotasra, Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathore, Deputy Leader of Opposition Satish Poonia, and former deputy chief minister Sachin Pilot were among those who wished Gehlot on his birthday.

In his message, Prime Minister Modi tweeted, “Birthday greetings to Rajasthan Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot Ji. May Almighty bless him with a long and healthy life.” Similarly, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla tweeted, “Wishing Rajasthan Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot Ji a very happy birthday. May God bless him with good health, happiness and a long life.”

Meanwhile, supporters and well-wishers of Gehlot organized various activities in his honor. Blood donation camps, cleanliness drives, and other social activities were organized in different parts of the state. The Chief Minister’s supporters also distributed food and clothes to the poor and needy.

Gehlot has been an active politician for over four decades and has served in various positions in the Congress party and the government. He has served as Chief Minister of Rajasthan twice – from 1998 to 2003 and from 2018 to the present. He has also served as a Member of Parliament and a Union Minister in the central government.

Gehlot’s leadership has been credited with bringing stability to the Congress party in Rajasthan after a period of internal turmoil. He has also focused on improving the state’s economy, infrastructure, and social welfare programs. Under his leadership, Rajasthan has made significant progress in areas such as education, healthcare, and women’s empowerment.

Gehlot’s supporters describe him as a visionary leader who is committed to the welfare of the people. They credit him with building a strong network of supporters and workers who are dedicated to the Congress party and its ideals. Gehlot is known for his accessible and affable personality, which has helped him connect with people from all walks of life.

As Gehlot celebrates his 72nd birthday, his supporters are hopeful that he will continue to lead the state towards prosperity and progress. They believe that his experience, vision, and dedication will help Rajasthan overcome the challenges it faces and emerge as a model state for the rest of the country.
