Inclusive Registration Drive Gains Momentum
Dimapur administration launched a major registration campaign for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) under DREAM Nagaland. The initiative focuses on creating an inclusive and accessible system for individuals seeking employment.
Moreover, officials aim to connect eligible PwDs with job opportunities through employment exchanges. As a result, the campaign encourages more individuals to participate and benefit from government services.
Administration Mobilises Local Bodies
Deputy Commissioner Dr. Tinojongshi Chang issued clear guidelines to ensure smooth execution of the campaign. He directed authorities to organise camps across colonies and wards in a structured manner.
Additionally, the administration asked village councils, ward authorities, and colony leaders to support the drive. They must spread awareness actively so that more people can join the registration process.
Camps Scheduled Across Key Locations
Authorities scheduled the registration camps at multiple locations across Dimapur from March 23 to March 26. They will run each camp between 11 AM and 2 PM.
Meanwhile, officials urged PwDs and their families to attend the camps with necessary documents. This step will help them complete registration quickly and avoid delays.
Strong Focus on Employment and Inclusion
The DREAM Nagaland initiative highlights the government’s commitment to inclusion. It also aims to improve employment access for Persons with Disabilities across the district.
Furthermore, the campaign ensures that eligible individuals do not miss opportunities due to lack of information. By doing so, the administration strengthens its outreach and support system.
Community Support Remains Crucial
Local authorities stressed the importance of community participation in making the campaign successful. They believe that strong coordination with grassroots leaders will boost turnout.
Therefore, officials continue to encourage community members to share information and motivate participation. This collective effort will help the campaign reach its full potential.
