Gold, Silver Price Today, Jan 26, 2023

Gold Price Today 25 January 2023: Both gold and silver were trading on the lower side of the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Wednesday. Check the latest city-wise prices here.

After retailing on the higher side for two consecutive days, both gold and silver prices opened lower on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Wednesday, January 25.

Gold futures, maturing on February 3, 2023, stood at Rs 56,959 per 10 grams on the MCX, after recording a marginal dip of Rs 20 or 0.04 per cent.

Similarly, silver futures, maturing on March 3, 2023, witnessed a downfall of Rs 47 or 0.07 percent and were retailing at Rs 68,498 per kg on the MCX.

Notably, the prices of gold and silver stood at Rs 56,969 per 10 grams and Rs 68,542 per kg respectively when the market closed on January 24.

The gold and silver prices in India depend on several factors, including the value of the rupee against the dollar. Global demand also plays a key role in determining the trends observed in the rate of precious metals.
