External Affairs Minister Jaishankar hails Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio program ‘Mann ki Baat’ as a reflection of a changing India. Jaishankar addressed the Indian community members at a special event to commemorate the 100th episode of the radio show. According to Jaishankar, the show is a connection between India and the world and represents the emergence of a new India that is more aware and aspirational.

Jaishankar’s comments come after his official visit to Guyana, Panama, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic, where he met with various government officials and discussed regional and international issues.

The ‘Mann ki Baat’ program, which translates to “Words from the Heart,” has been airing since October 2014. It is a monthly radio program in which Modi shares his thoughts on various topics, including social issues, education, health, and environmental concerns.

The program has gained immense popularity over the years, with millions of listeners tuning in to listen to the prime minister’s messages. The show has been translated into several languages and is broadcast on various platforms, including All India Radio, Doordarshan, and the Narendra Modi mobile app.

Jaishankar praised the show for its ability to connect India with the world, stating that it represents a more aspirational India that is more aware of global issues. He further added that the show is a reflection of the last nine years, which have seen India transform into a new, more dynamic country.
