Centre Approves Helen Dawngliani’s Appointment
The Union government has cleared Helen Dawngliani’s appointment as an additional judge of the Gauhati High Court.
The Centre issued the appointment notification on September 8 after accepting the recommendation of the Supreme Court Collegium.
The Collegium had recommended Dawngliani for the position on August 18. It also recommended Nagaland-based advocate Nchumbemo Mozhui for appointment as a High Court judge.
