House Listing Exercise Gains Momentum

Similarly, authorities in Chümoukedima encouraged Urban Local Bodies to actively assist the House Listing process. Officials believe community participation will help improve the accuracy of the Census.

A consultative meeting in Niuland addressed public concerns about the Census exercise.

Officials clarified that the Census is meant only for population enumeration. Additionally, they explained that it has no connection with electoral rolls, delimitation, Aadhaar, or PAN.

Focus on Quality Verification

In Chiephobozou, supervisors received instructions to conduct regular field verification throughout the House Listing phase.

As a result, officials expect better data quality and more accurate records. They also asked supervisors to monitor fieldwork closely and ensure strict compliance with Census procedures.
