After a short break, Imphal makes a strong return to the Durand Cup calendar. The city will host Group F matches at the Khuman Lampak Main Stadium, beginning July 30. Local favorites like TRAU FC and NEROCA FC will face off against Real Kashmir and Indian Navy in a set of highly anticipated matches.
Kokrajhar, Assam
In Kokrajhar, matches will be held at the SAI Stadium starting July 27. The stadium has become a regular venue since 2023. Kokrajhar, part of the Bodoland Territorial Region, continues to build a strong football identity with each edition.
Shillong, Meghalaya
Shillong kicks off the tournament as one of the opening match hosts. The Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium will host intense group-stage clashes, giving fans early reasons to cheer.

This year, the Durand Cup covers five Indian states—West Bengal, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, and Jharkhand. In total, 24 teams will compete, including:

NorthEast United Returns as Defending Champion
NorthEast United FC, based in Guwahati, returns as the defending champions. Their group-stage matches will take place in Shillong, making it easier for home fans to show support. Their first game is scheduled for August 2.
