The Union health ministry is set to launch the ambitious ‘Ayushman Bhav’ programme with the objective of ensuring the efficient delivery of all state-run health schemes to every intended beneficiary, even those in remote areas. According to official sources, this initiative will encompass various activities such as ‘Ayushman Apke Dwar 3.0’, ‘Ayushman Sabha’, ‘Ayushman Mela’, and ‘Ayushman Gram’.

The primary goal of the ‘Ayushman Bhav’ campaign is to achieve comprehensive and saturation coverage of all health schemes, enabling every eligible beneficiary to avail their entitled benefits. Building on the success of the previous ‘Ayushman Apke Dwar’ drives, version 3.0 will commence on August 1st, undertaking an intensive campaign to ensure full saturation across the country.

One of the key components of the programme, ‘Ayushman Sabha’, will be executed at the village level and spearheaded by the village health, sanitation, and nutrition committee. This committee will work diligently to ensure that the advantages of all health schemes initiated by both central and state governments are effectively disseminated to the intended beneficiaries.

With the ‘Ayushman Bhav’ programme, the government aims to bridge the gaps and barriers in accessing healthcare services, especially in remote and underserved regions. The initiative is driven by the core principle of leaving no one behind and fostering inclusivity in the healthcare ecosystem.

Through ‘Ayushman Apke Dwar 3.0’, the government intends to build upon the achievements of the previous drives to reach an even broader audience and extend the reach of health schemes to the last mile. The upcoming intensive drive will leave no stone unturned in ensuring that every eligible individual is made aware of their entitlements and provided with the necessary assistance to avail themselves of the benefits.

The ‘Ayushman Sabha’ campaign is expected to play a pivotal role in connecting with communities at the grassroots level. By engaging the village health, sanitation, and nutrition committee, the government aims to establish a direct line of communication between beneficiaries and healthcare authorities. This step is anticipated to facilitate smoother implementation and identify potential areas of improvement.

‘Ayushman Mela’, another facet of the ‘Ayushman Bhav’ programme, will act as a platform to showcase various health schemes and services available to the public. These events will not only promote awareness but also create an atmosphere of health education and empowerment.

Additionally, the programme will focus on ‘Ayushman Gram’, an initiative aimed at enhancing healthcare facilities in rural areas. By bolstering healthcare infrastructure and services in villages, the government aspires to improve the overall health and well-being of the rural population.

The comprehensive approach of the ‘Ayushman Bhav’ campaign demonstrates the government’s commitment to promoting universal healthcare and ensuring that no eligible citizen is left without adequate health coverage. It is a step forward in the direction of achieving the goal of health for all, transcending geographical, social, and economic barriers.

The success of ‘Ayushman Apke Dwar 1 and 2’ has laid a strong foundation for the third iteration, and with an intensified drive, the government expects to witness even more substantial results. By employing a village-level campaign through ‘Ayushman Sabha’, the government seeks to establish direct contact with beneficiaries, fostering a sense of community responsibility towards healthcare.

The upcoming ‘Ayushman Bhav’ programme is a testament to the government’s dedication to creating a robust and inclusive healthcare system that caters to the diverse needs of its citizens. Through these innovative initiatives, the government aims to bridge the gap between healthcare services and beneficiaries, paving the way for a healthier and more prosperous nation.
