Students, Staff Evacuated After 48 Schools Receive Bomb Threat in Bengaluru

Bengaluru, Karnataka – December 1, 2023 – A wave of panic swept through Bengaluru on Friday as 48 schools across the city received anonymous bomb threats, leading to the evacuation of thousands of students and staff members. The threats, which were made through emails and phone calls, triggered a massive security response, with police bomb squads and sniffer dogs deployed to all affected schools.

Widespread Panic and Evacuation

The bomb threats began circulating around 11:00 AM on Friday, causing widespread panic among students, parents, and school authorities. As the threats were received, schools immediately initiated their emergency protocols, evacuating students and staff to safe locations.

Intensive Police Investigation
