Guwahati hosted an eye donation awareness programme at Hari Gayatri Das College in Azara as part of the 41st National Eye Donation Fortnight. Students Encouraged to Promote Eye Donation

Tridib Sarma, Eye Donation Manager at Sankardev Netralaya, conducted an audio-visual and PowerPoint presentation during the programme.
The presentation covered several important topics, including eye donation, corneal transplantation and eye-bank facilities. It also explained the services available through Sankardev Netralaya in Assam.
In addition, Sarma encouraged students to take the eye donation pledge and become active supporters of the campaign.
