MNF organisational polls will take place after the 2028 Mizoram Assembly election, party president and former chief minister Zoramthanga said on September 14. The Mizo National Front will therefore put its internal elections on hold until after the state goes to the polls.
Zoramthanga told party workers in Aizawl that the MNF follows the practice of holding organisational elections after Assembly polls. He said the party would focus on strengthening its organisation and preparing for the 2028 contest before conducting its next internal election. (nenow.in)
