Manish Sisodia’s Wife Hospitalized For Autoimmune Disorder

Seema Sisodia, the wife of former Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia, was admitted to Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in New Delhi on Tuesday, April 25. She is suffering from multiple sclerosis, a rare autoimmune disorder that affects only one in a million people. The disease causes the brain to lose control of the body, which can lead to the patient becoming reliant on others.

According to a source, Seema’s condition had deteriorated, and she required hospitalization. Her exact condition has not been updated since her admission, and more information is awaited. The disease is unpredictable, and emotional support is essential for the patient, which is currently absent as Seema’s son is away, and her husband is not present due to his recent arrest.

Manish Sisodia had previously requested bail from the court due to his wife’s illness and his son’s absence, and the court is expected to rule on his request on April 26. AAP chief spokesperson and Delhi Cabinet minister Saurabh Bharadwaj urged the court to consider the situation.

Seema’s illness was not revealed earlier, and in the past, the BJP had held a press conference claiming that Sisodia had taken a large sum of money. However, the senior party leader has now requested that people focus on Seema’s illness and pray for her speedy recovery.

Multiple sclerosis is a severe disease that can disable a person as the immune system attacks the protective sheath that covers nerve fibers. This attack causes communication problems between the brain and the rest of the body, leading to a loss of control.

Seema’s illness has garnered support from Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and his Punjab counterpart Bhagwant Mann, who visited her home in February to show their support. Her current hospitalization highlights the need for more awareness and support for individuals suffering from autoimmune disorders.
