A man identified as Nonong Panyang sustained serious injuries after an alleged machete (dao) attack in Param village near Geku in Arunachal Pradesh on the night of July 7. The victim initially received emergency treatment at Geku Hospital before doctors referred him to Bakin Pertin General Hospital in Pasighat. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was later shifted to Aditya Hospital in Dibrugarh, Assam, where he is undergoing treatment. Man Suffers Serious Injuries in Alleged Machete Attack

A violent incident was reported from Param village near Geku in Arunachal Pradesh after a man allegedly attacked another person with a machete late on the night of July 7.

Police identified the accused as Aniang Panyang, a resident of Geku. According to the initial information, the alleged attack occurred without any prior altercation or provocation.

Soon after the incident, police registered a First Information Report (FIR) and began an investigation. Officers are collecting evidence and recording statements to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the attack.

Authorities have not yet released further details regarding the motive behind the incident. The investigation remains in progress.
