Finance Minister working on several schemes and will take all initiatives to make Delhi a clean, beautiful, and modern city.
Finance Minister Kailash Gahlot stated in an interview that the Municipal Corporation of Delhi had put a stop to the projects announced for the 20 lakh jobs in five years pledges made in the previous budget.
The Government has lowered Delhi’s portion of the Central pool of taxes from ₹325 crores to zero. Good and Service tax remuneration has also been stopped.
The finance minister is a government official responsible for managing the financial affairs of a country or state. In this role, the finance minister oversees the government’s revenue and expenditure, manages the national budget, and formulates and implements economic policies that promote growth and stability.
They promised to create markets, establish a Food Truck Policy or hold a shopping frenzy. All of these initiatives were affected by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi MCD when Aam Aadmi Party was not in control.
