Fire Engulfs Hyderabad-Bound Falaknuma Express; Passengers Safe

n a harrowing incident, a fire broke out on the Hyderabad-bound Falaknuma Express, originating from Howrah and heading towards Secunderabad, near Bommaipalli. However, there were no reports of any casualties as all passengers were safely evacuated. Officials stated that five compartments of the train were affected by the fire, with three being completely destroyed and two partially damaged.

Upon receiving the distress call, authorities from the South Central Railway swiftly coordinated with the local police and fire department to address the situation. Telangana Director General of Police, Anjani Kumar, confirmed the safety of all passengers and provided updates on the incident via his Twitter account. He mentioned that out of the total 18 coaches, 11 were successfully detached from the train and taken to a secure location.

The fire, which engulfed seven bogies of the Falaknuma Express, was eventually brought under control. As of the latest update, the fire had been extinguished in three of the affected bogies. The efforts of the emergency response teams ensured that no fatalities occurred during the incident.
