Anurag Maloo, an Indian climber who went missing on Monday after falling into a deep crevasse on Nepal’s Mount Annapurna, has been found alive by rescuers. According to his brother Sudhir, Maloo is in critical condition but still alive and has been taken to a hospital for treatment.

Maloo, who is 34 years old and a resident of Kishangarh in Rajasthan, was descending from Camp III when he fell from a height of around 6,000 meters. Mount Annapurna is the 10th highest mountain in the world and is known for its challenging climbing conditions. Maloo’s rescue is being hailed as a miracle, as the chances of survival in such situations are extremely low.

Maloo is on a mission to climb all 14 peaks above 8,000 meters and the seven highest points in all seven continents to create awareness and drive action towards achieving the UN Global Goals. He has already been awarded the REX Karam-Veer Chakra for his bravery and became the 2041 Antarctic Youth Ambassador from India.

Maloo’s family and friends are relieved that he has been found alive, but they are also aware of the challenges that lie ahead. They are now focused on ensuring that he receives the best medical treatment possible so that he can recover from his injuries.

Maloo’s story is an inspiration to many, as he has shown great determination and courage in pursuing his dream of climbing the world’s highest peaks and raising awareness for important global causes. His survival is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the power of hope.
