In a series of unfortunate events, three cities in Maharashtra, namely Thane, Mumbai, and Pune, experienced separate fire incidents within hours of each other on Thursday morning. Although the fires caused significant property damage, there were no casualties reported. The first fire broke out in a scrap godown in Bhiwandi town, Thane. The blaze spread rapidly, creating chaos among the residents. Firefighters promptly arrived at the scene and successfully brought the fire under control.

Shortly after, a commercial building in Mumbai’s Chembur area, known as Swastik Chamber, caught fire. Fire engines were dispatched, and after considerable efforts, the fire was extinguished. Firefighters rescued around 33 individuals from various locations within the building. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and further investigation is underway.

In Pune, just an hour later, a massive fire erupted in a furniture warehouse in the Bhawani Peth area. The fire department responded swiftly, and numerous shops, godowns, and four residential houses were engulfed in flames. Over 18 fire tenders were deployed to the scene, and 10 cylinders were removed from the warehouse to prevent further damage.

While the fires caused significant destruction to property, no loss of life or injuries were reported in any of the incidents. Authorities are working to ascertain the causes of the fires and take necessary measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
