NHIDCL Reviews Ongoing Road Construction
Officials from the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) inspected the Roing-Hunli Greenfield Alignment on September 22.
The team visited the Roing side of the 74.863-km NH-313 project. During the inspection, officials checked construction progress and reviewed the project’s implementation.
The team also discussed construction challenges and possible measures to maintain the pace of work.
Senior Officials Join Site Visit
The MLA from Dibang Valley and the Deputy Commissioners of Roing and Anini joined the inspection team.
In addition, the Executive Director (Projects) from NHIDCL’s Regional Office in Itanagar and the General Manager (Projects) from the Project Management Unit (PMU), Roing, attended the review.
Other NHIDCL officials and project representatives also participated in the site inspection.
Difficult Terrain Remains a Challenge
The officials examined several aspects of the ongoing construction. They also discussed the difficulties that the region’s terrain creates for road development.
Therefore, NHIDCL and other stakeholders are working on measures to address these challenges and keep construction moving.
The inspection also allowed officials to identify areas that require closer monitoring and faster action.
Highway to Improve Dibang Valley Connectivity
The Roing-Hunli Greenfield Alignment forms an important part of the road network in Dibang Valley.
