Pasighat: ‘Tulang’ Pure Edible Oil Factory Inaugurated at Industrial Estate to Boost Local Economy

The ‘Tulang’ pure edible oil factory officially opened at the Industrial Estate, 2 Mile, Pasighat in Arunachal Pradesh on May 16. Information and Public Relations Minister Nyato Dukam inaugurated the factory in the presence of Pasighat East MLA Tapi Darang, Pasighat West MLA Ninong Ering, and Mebo MLA Oken Tayeng. During the event, the leaders praised entrepreneur Mohonto Pangin for establishing the unit in East Siang district. Moreover, they said the factory will create jobs, support local farmers, and encourage people to buy locally produced goods.

Meanwhile, the three East Siang MLAs urged residents to support locally manufactured products. They said local goods are organic, healthy, and beneficial for the regional economy.

In addition, the leaders noted that the edible oil factory will directly help local farmers in the coming years. They explained that stronger local industries can improve income opportunities for rural communities and reduce dependence on outside products.

The MLAs also appreciated Mohonto Pangin for choosing East Siang as the location for the factory.


Minister Highlights Tourism Potential of East Siang

Apart from industrial growth, Nyato Dukam highlighted the tourism potential of East Siang district. He said the region’s natural beauty can attract more tourists if residents continue to welcome visitors warmly.

Moreover, he explained that tourism and industrial development together can strengthen the district’s economy and improve Arunachal Pradesh’s image among visitors.

Finally, the minister called on citizens to remain united and support the state’s development journey.
