Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised his government for its outreach programs during a recent visit to Kerala. The Prime Minister visited the southern state on Monday as part of a two-day tour of several states and multiple events. During the event, he highlighted the four key reasons for India’s position as a bright spot on the global map, which includes a decisive government at the Centre, investment in modern infrastructure, youth, and skill development, and a focus on ease of living and doing business.

PM Modi also lauded India’s rail network for its rapid transformation and preparation for higher speeds. He cited the recent inauguration of Kerala’s first Vande Bharat train and India’s first water metro in Kochi as examples of the government’s focus on connectivity and development projects.

The Prime Minister noted the crucial role of the Central government’s global outreach efforts in increasing India’s credibility in the world and benefiting Keralites living in other countries.

Emphasizing cooperative federalism, the Prime Minister said that the development of states is essential for the country’s growth, and if Kerala develops, India will develop faster. He praised Kerala for being a state of aware and educated people and acknowledged the hard work and humility of its residents as part of their identity.

In his speech, PM Modi also highlighted the fact that most public transportation systems in the country, including Kochi Water Metro, are made in India, emphasizing the government’s commitment to boosting local manufacturing and innovation.
