Darshna Rathore Impresses with 71 on Day One of Women’s Skeet Qualifications at ISSF Shotgun World Cup

Darshna Rathore, a former national champion and Khelo India Youth Games winner, showcased her shooting prowess by shooting a commendable 71 on the opening day of the women’s skeet qualifications at the ISSF Shotgun World Cup. Her impressive performance positioned her in third place among the competitors on Monday.

Leading the field after three rounds was Greek shooter Emmanouela Katzouraki, who secured a score of 72. The athletes returned on Tuesday to complete the final two qualification rounds before the top eight participants would advance to the finals, scheduled for the same day.

Among the Indian contenders, Darshna Rathore emerged as the standout performer. Her score of 71 placed her ahead of her compatriots and showcased her determination and skill.
