Meeting Focuses on Adi Language Preservation

Taki thanked the Directorate for initiating the interaction. He also welcomed the department’s interest in supporting efforts to protect the Adi community’s linguistic and cultural identity.

Director Likha Suraj assured the AAK of all possible support from the Directorate of Indigenous Affairs. Earlier, Suraj had expressed interest in engaging directly with the organisation to understand the challenges facing indigenous languages.
