In a recent incident, a fire broke out in the intensive care unit (ICU) of a multi-storey private hospital building in Greater Noida. The fire incident occurred at Naveen Hospital, situated in the Alpha 2 sector of Greater Noida. The flames originated in the ICU, which is located on the hospital’s fourth floor. Upon receiving the emergency call, the fire department immediately dispatched firefighting personnel to the scene.
Chief Fire Officer Choubey stated, “The fire was reported from Naveen Hospital in Alpha 2 sector of Greater Noida. The fire broke out in the ICU of the hospital located on the fourth floor.” The precise cause of the fire is yet to be determined and is currently under investigation.
Thanks to the quick response from the fire department and the coordinated efforts of the hospital staff, all individuals present in the ICU were safely rescued. The evacuation process was carried out swiftly and efficiently, ensuring that no harm befell the patients, doctors, or other healthcare workers.
The Chief Fire Officer commended the efforts of the firefighting team, stating, “Our firefighters worked diligently to control the fire and prevent its spread to other areas of the hospital.
