As we know Indian films, always Hindi, not those in other languages, were encouraged because they were seen as protection for the Russian film market against Hollywood films.

But now, Pushpa: The Rise, Russia’s most-loved Indian film

The released date of Pushpa in Russia?

After creating a buzz in Indian languages, the Allu Arjun-starrer ‘Pushpa – The Rise’ is to be released in Russian on December 8.

The Icon Star and the team of Pushpa the Rise went to Russia and promoted the film in the country.

They were also accompanied by Rashmika Mandanna.

‘Pushpa: The Rise’, which is in the third week since its release, is on track to becoming Russia’s most-loved Indian film of all time.

And the Russian satellite rights to the film will be sold soon for another Rs 2 crore, unit sources said.

However, despite the team has flied to Russia and promoted the film,

and the makers invested some sizeable amount to dub into the Russian language, promote and release the film.

Box office collection Pushpa is out from Russia

Now, as covered by Tollywood.net, the box office collection Pushpa is out from Russia.

It is learnt that the film has made just around 20 lakhs gross from 775 screens,

which is a huge shocker as even the budget spent on promotions is far from recovered.

These numbers, however, are yet to be officially confirmed.

As the film was a commercial success in India and overseas territories despite Covid restrictions,

Russia too was expected to contribute some good numbers.

Russians have increasingly been flocking to cinemas to watch Indian movies since March,

when several international OTT platforms suspended their services in that country and Hollywood, too, pulled out after the offensive in Ukraine.
