Swiggy, the popular food delivery platform, has recently posted on their Instagram account a hilarious take on what it would be like if some of the most popular foods in India had LinkedIn profiles. The post has since gone viral and has garnered over 3,700 likes and numerous positive comments.

In the post, Swiggy introduced vada pav as a “Brand ambassador @ Mumbai/ Senior street food specialist/ Engaging in only spicy chatpata conversations.” Meanwhile, dosa pointed out the various names it is known by and proudly claimed the “Best Breakfast Classic award (2021, 2022, 2023)” in collaboration with sambar and coconut chutney.

Rajma chawal, which is a popular comfort food in India, introduced itself as the “CEO @ comfort food | A love language | successful partnership with mummy ke haath, dahi, and pyaaz.” Chai, a staple beverage in India, was described as the “manager @ everyone’s mood,” while croissant humorously referred to itself as “Declared as the most difficult word to spell after Gorjus.”

Pasta, which is not an Indian dish but is still popular in the country, listed its achievement as the “Winner of the Safe Option at Fancy Cafe Award 2022.” Lastly, the Swiggy Admin poked fun at themselves by adding their LinkedIn profile with a crying cat meme as the profile photo and stating that they were a “Guinness world record holder for asking for a raise.”

The post was wittily captioned with “My appraisal depends on this post getting 10k likes” against the backdrop of the appraisal season. The creative take on popular foods has received numerous praises from Instagram users. One user even wrote, “Okay, I’m officially in love with whoever handles Swiggy’s install page. From one copywriter to another, I tip my hat to you.”

Swiggy’s latest post on Instagram has brought a smile to many faces and highlights the creativity and humor of the team behind the popular food delivery platform.
