Assisted reproductive technology (ART) is a boon to mankind. It has helped millions of people to realize their dreams of parenthood. Assisted reproductive technology (ART) has made significant advances in recent years, and it is likely that it will continue to evolve in the future.

Dr Hrishikesh Pai along with Rishma Dhillon Pai, and Dr. Rohan Palshetkar have established the Budget Fertility Center in Mumbai to treat more patient with fertility issues. Moreover, they strive to offer suitable yet affordable IVF as well gynecological treatment.

Dr Hrishikesh Pai who has introduced IVF technology in India and is the President of The Federation of Obstetric and Gynecological Societies of India (FOGSI) shares the most recent developments in the field of assisted reproductive technology:

3D printing of ovarian tissue: Researchers have developed a technique to 3D print functional ovarian tissue, which has the potential to be used as a replacement for damaged ovarian tissue or as a source of eggs for fertility treatments. This development will help women who have lost their fertility due to cancer and related chemotherapy treatment to restore their fertility and get pregnant.

Artificial intelligence and machine learning in fertility treatment: Artificial intelligence and machine learning are being used to analyze large amounts of data to identify patterns and predict outcomes in fertility treatment. For example, machine learning algorithms are being used to predict the likelihood of successful fertilization and pregnancy.

Advancement in Spermatogonial stem cell (SSC) therapy:  Ongoing research in this therapy involves the transfer of sperm stem cells in the testis to a test tube for developing them into fully fledged sperm for use in fertility treatments.

CRISPR gene editing for fertility treatment: CRISPR gene editing technology is being explored as a potential tool for improving the success rates of fertility treatments by repairing genetic defects in eggs and embryos.

Development of new medications for fertility treatment: Researchers are developing new medications that could improve the effectiveness of fertility treatments, such as medications to improve egg quality or to stimulate ovulation.

The need of hour is to introduce better ART related technologies that promise improvement in success rate in IVF treatment, better medication and also accessibility of latest IVF treatments across the globe including India where millions of couples and individuals are trying hard to become parents.

Hence, Dr Hrishikesh Pai, Dr Rishma Dhillon Pai, and Dr Rohan Palshetkar, have established the Budget Fertility Center in Mumbai to treat infertility patients. They hope that these abovementioned enhancements in assisted reproductive technology (ART) to be made available to people globally especially in India. Currently, Budget Fertility Center offers affordable state-of-the-art IVF treatment along with PCOD Treatment, Endometriosis Treatment, Hysteroscopy, Pre-pregnancy Counselling, Menopause Treatment, and PCOS Treatment
