Introduction

The University of Delhi (DU) has announced a rescheduled date for the release of the third merit list for postgraduate courses in the academic year 2023. Previously slated for September 4, 2023, the third merit list will now be unveiled on September 11, 2023, at 5 pm.

This delay comes as the second round of admissions is currently underway. To facilitate this adjustment, DU has introduced a mid-entry period from September 7 to September 9. This mid-entry period will serve as a bridge leading up to the release of the eagerly anticipated third merit list.

Candidates who secure admission to DU’s esteemed postgraduate programs must be prepared to accept the offered seats promptly. The acceptance window will open at 5 pm on September 11 and close at 4:59 pm on the same day.

Here’s a step-by-step guide for candidates to check their DU PG 3rd seat allotment result for 2023:

1. Visit the official DU admissions website at [admission.uod.ac.in](https://admission.uod.ac.in).

2. On the homepage, click on the “PG Admission” tab.

3. Enter the required login credentials and click the “submit” button.

4. The DU PG 3rd seat allotment result for 2023 will be displayed on the screen.

5. Download the allotment result and retain a printed copy for future reference.

Following the release of the third merit list on September 11, a crucial process involving supernumerary quotas and CSAS (College Admission Software System) distribution will commence on September 13. This process is integral to ensuring equitable admissions across departments, colleges, and centers within the university.

From September 11 at 5 pm until September 15, academic departments, colleges, and centers will meticulously review these admissions and approve the online applications, thereby ensuring a fair and transparent admission process.

Prospective postgraduate students are advised to stay updated with the official DU website for any further updates and information regarding the admissions process.

Conclusion

This rescheduling demonstrates DU’s commitment to conducting a seamless and efficient admission process, giving all deserving candidates a fair chance to pursue their academic aspirations at one of India’s premier educational institutions.
