A shocking Air India flight crash occurred near Ahmedabad airport early Thursday. The London-bound flight was carrying 242 passengers and crew. It crashed just 15 kilometers from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport.

Eyewitnesses said they saw smoke trailing from the plane moments before it hit the ground. The crash triggered a massive fire, and local villagers were the first to respond.
