Arunachal Pradesh: Over 84% Sitang Households Support Siang Upper Project PFR

Participation in the Pre Feasibility Report (PFR) process for the proposed Siang Upper Multipurpose Project in Arunachal Pradesh has crossed 84% in Sitang village. On May 20, 13 more households signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), taking the total support to 71 out of 84 households. The project is being planned to strengthen infrastructure, energy security, and regional development in the state. Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein praised villagers and officials for moving forward through consultation and transparency. Sitang Village Participation Increases

The proposed Siang Upper Multipurpose Project in Arunachal Pradesh has received growing support from residents of Sitang village. Officials confirmed that 71 out of 84 households have now signed the Pre Feasibility Report agreements.
