Actor-politician Nandamuri Taraka Ratna is still on the ventilator, according to the latest update by the hospital.

The hospital authorities shared an official statement updating about Taraka Ratna’s health. The statement read, ”Shri Nandamuri Taraka Ratna continues to be in a critical state on ventilatory and other higher support. We would like to clarify certain media reports, and state that he has not been put on any ECMO support till now. His family is constantly updated about his health condition. Any changes to his clinical condition will be notified as required. We request that the public continue to support us in providing privacy and uninterrupted treatment.

Nandamuri Taraka Ratna, who attended the padayatra launched by Nara Lokesh in Kuppam last Friday, fell seriously ill after walking for a while. He was admitted to a private hospital in Kuppam immediately. On Saturday night, on the advice of hospital doctors in Kuppam, Tarak was shifted to Narayana Hrudayalaya in Bengaluru in a special ambulance. The actor is undergoing treatment at Bangalore’s Narayana Hrudayalaya. From time to time, the doctors release bulletins on Taraka Ratna’s health condition.

The Karnataka government is also inquiring about Taraka Ratna. Many film and political celebrities went to Bangalore to know about Tarak’s health condition. Along with Jr NTR and his wife Pranathi, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram paid their visit to Taraka Ratna at the hospital. Balakrishna and Jr NTR on Sunday said that Taraka Ratna is responding to treatment, and his health is improving slowly.

However, Yesterday evening, Taraka Ratna’s uncle Rama Krishna who spoke to the media says “Tarakaratna is breathing on his own now. This makes us very happy”, hope he gets back to the normalcy soon. Etimes Telugu too wishes the friendly actor a god speed recovery and god bless.
